Dr. Alex graduated from the Scandinavian College of Chiropractic (Skandinaviska Kiropraktorhögskolan) in Stockholm, Sweden, in 2016 with a Masters in Chiropractic. After obtaining his Swedish Chiropractor License, he spent three years working in Stockholm for the National Healthcare System. Wanting to broaden his horizons, he decided to move to Shanghai, China, in 2019.

His passion for chiropractic originated from an early age, when Dr. Alex was very involved in sports. Having issues with his heel, he was recommended by his father to visit a chiropractor who identified that this was due to musculoskeletal imbalances. After receiving treatment, he saw significant improvements in pain, function and posture. From this experience, he wanted to become a chiropractor, and help people with a number of different musculoskeletal injuries.

Now, Dr. Alex has a particular interest in helping individuals of all ages treat, manage and prevent complaints related to the musculoskeletal system, including back pain and neck pain.

Dr. Alex has developed extensive experience in helping patients improve their optimal health. He views wellness from a holistic perspective. His concept of wellness consists of using chiropractic as the foundation for wellness. With this foundation, he believes other aspects of health like nutrition, exercise, stretching, strength training and patient education can be incorporated into the wellness model. He believes that to be well requires getting adjusted on a regular basis and having an optimal functioning spine and nervous system: This equates to optimal health.

In his spare time, Dr. Alex enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle through physical activities such as running and going to the gym, and enjoys traveling to new countries and experiencing different cultures.
