Chiropractic Adjustments

Chiropractic adjustment is a procedure in which trained specialists (chiropractors) use their hands or a small instrument to apply a controlled, sudden force to a spinal joint. The goal of this procedure, also known as spinal manipulation, is to improve the patient’s spinal health and physical function. These techniques allow for better mobility, range of motion and neuromuscular efficiency.

Chiropractic adjustments can do wonders for chronic pain conditions regardless if the original occurred from injury, degenerative processes, car accident, repetitive stress, etc. The best part is that it’s a natural, drugless treatment process to help you attain your optimal health goals.

Da BaoZha Adjustment

The Da BaoZha, or the “Big Bang” adjustment, is a non-surgical manual traction adjustment. It works by carefully stretching the spine and decompressing it to take the pressure off the pinched nerves and herniated, bulging or injured spinal discs, in one synchronized motion. Many back problems are the result of the pressure placed on vertebral discs, nerves, and joints of the spine.

The Da BaoZha adjustment allows for the decompression and alleviation of this pressure throughout the entire length of the spine. Taking the pressure off the spine allows for ideal communication between the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system, and helps promote healthy flow of water, oxygen and nutrient-rich fluids into the discs throughout the spine and trigger your body back to a healthy state.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release is treatment of skeletal muscle mobility (or immobility). Fascia is the thin, strong, elastic connective tissue that wraps and covers most of the human body including your muscles. Scar tissue tightening of the fascia can result in loss of mobility or even pain. Myofascial release can assist in regaining that mobility through, stretching, “scraping”, or massaging of the fascia to regain its flexibility. Increased blood flow and oxygen are an amazing and necessary benefit of myofascial release treatment.

Percussion Therapy

Percussion therapy provides machine-based rapid vibrations that instantly release muscle soreness and tightness. The treatment is much more effective compared to traditional massage or tuina. Essentially it works similar to trigger point muscle release, but much more effective, time saving and comfortable. Percussion Therapy not only works for anybody who wants or needs instant muscle tension and pain relief, it helps patients to warm-up,   increase muscle performance and recovery.

Stretching And Strengthening Exercises

Exercise, in general, has shown some important benefits for individuals struggling with injuries, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal problems. For instance, aerobic exercise enhances blood circulation and fluid drainage, which can help control swelling and feed more healing oxygen to the tissues.

Stretching and strengthening exercises promise some special benefits of their own. Stretches can release pent-up muscle tension and limber up the tissues to ease muscle spasms, making the everyday motion more comfortable, and reduce your injury risk. Strengthening also reduces injury risk by granting extra stability to the key muscle groups that maintain your posture, symmetry, and balance.
